Our bags of popcorn vary in weight, depending on the flavor of popcorn in the bag. Some savory flavors are only 5 ounces for a full bag, whereas others, like the drizzled flavors, are closer to 13 or 14 ounces each. Each bag contains the same amount of popcorn, about 3-4 servings. We consider a serving to be about 2 cups of popped corn each! If you’re looking for a size smaller or larger than this, please refer to our Special Orders form to get more information about our snack and bulk bags.

Our popcorn maintains best freshness and deliciousness for 3 months after the production date (noted on either the side or bottom of the bag). After 3 months, it may begin to stale. For optimal deliciousness, store in a cool, dark place.

We do our best to maintain excellence with our products, and with the current supply chain issues, we can’t always get the ingredients we need to achieve our standards of product excellence. You bet! If you’re interested in having custom labels made, we partner with our graphic designer to create those for you. This is an additional fee to the popcorn order. We require a minimum order of 50 bags if you’d like to have custom labels made. Fill out a special orders form for more details!

We do our best to make sure that our popcorn is as nut-friendly as possible. This is a major reason to we don’t have any almond-infused flavors or peanut caramel corn, even though we have a ton of requests for it! We do have a few flavors made with coconut (oil, pieces, flakes, flavoring, etc.), so if that’s an issue for you, be mindful of these flavors:

• Toasted Coconut

We use some ingredients processed in facilities that also handle nuts, such as our chocolate, which is something we have no control over.

All of that to say, we do use Peanut M&Ms in one of our flavors (Kettle Corn with Peanut M&Ms) but are careful to hand-place the candies into each bag of the flavor, as to not cross-contaminate our equipment with peanut traces. We then thoroughly sanitize our hands and all equipment used in the process of creating that flavor, in order to keep our friends with nut allergies as safe as we possibly can!

Our family lived in Hawaii for a short time in 2000, before we began Miss Hannah's in 2001. I (Hannah) embraced the Hawaiian culture while we were there, running around barefoot with the other kids catching geckos, eating raw ramen noodles, and climbing plumeria trees to string leis.

When we moved back to the mainland and opened Miss Hannah’s, we began doing outdoor events and were invited to a Hawaiian Festival at Uwajimaya (a local asian grocery store). They requested that we make the Hawaiian flavor, Hurricane, and taught us the proper ingredients to purchase from their store.

Since then, we have grown a large following of native Hawaiian fans as part of our Popcorn Fam. We source our quality ingredients for the Hurricane flavor from local Hawaiian suppliers in order to keep it as authentic as possible.

In the Pacific Northwest, we have Walla Walla Sweet Onions grown in the agricultural areas of eastern Washington state, and while we considered naming our sweet but tangy Island Onion flavor after this area, we eventually chose to give credit to our beloved Hawaiian Islands as a way of remembering our time there.
